I have been creating mixed media art for over 30 years. Raised in Western Massachusetts at the foothills of the Berkshire mountains, my artistic study of the landscape began at an early age in an apple orchard and horse farm near my childhood home.

I seek to create art that suggests subject matter rather than producing a literal illustration. I invite the viewers to linger on the natural architecture of the unaltered landscape and environmental atmosphere. My hope is that my art will allow viewers to explore and passionately connect to the elusive interplay between line, color, and emotions in our world.

I hold a master’s degree in art and live in the Lake Norman area of North Carolina. I am also a current high school art educator.
